Mengapa 70% pengunjung Rujak di Indonesia berasal dari Bekasi?

Rujak_low2Pengunjung dari Jakarta hanya 14 %.  Pada 22 Juli 2009, sebulan setelah peluncuran, 3 minggu setelah on-line efektif, pengunjung RUJAK mencapai 2,000 lebih, dari 37 negara. Dari seluruh pengunjung global ini, yang asal Bekasi sekitar 60%. 

RUJAK mengucapkan banyak terima kasih kepada pengunjung. 

Mengapa kunjungan dari Bekasi secara menyolok jauh lebih banyak daripada yang dari tempat lain? (more…)

The Wealth of Cities: Towards an Assets-based Development of Newly Urbanizing Regions[1] by John Friedmann

Abstract

An argument is developed for an endogenous development of city-regions throughout the world. Emphasis is placed on seven clusters of tangible regional assets in which investments should preferentially be made. They include basic human needs, organized civil society, the heritage of the built environment and popular culture, intellectual and creative assets, the region’s resource endowment, the quality of its environment, and urban infrastructure. In conclusion, a plea is made for a “whole of government” collaborative approach to planning for an endogenous development.
