Focusing

The Rujak Research Hub is based within RCUS, located in Jakarta with vast network to 12 Indonesian cities. This hub is for interdisciplinary urban-regional research and collaboration.

Areas of study is include urban planning, architecture, community and participatory planning, urban mobility, urban energy, urban demographic, open data, etc. on community based co-production of knowledge, our service and expertise range from social & physical mapping, spatial planning analysis and dissemination of urban knowledge via all forms of media & events.

Rujak as Research Hub

We also provide services and offer collaboration for foreign researchers.

We have worked together with local communities, such as Kampung Pasar Ikan, Kampung Tongkol – Lodan – Krapu, Komunitas Hijau Pondok Indah, etc. We also have network with other organisation and institution, such as Arkom – Yogyakarta, Kunci Cultural Studies Center, Hysteria – Semarang, Lab Tanya/Tangerang Selatan, Design As Generator, Kampoeng Bogor, the International Center for Aceh and Indian Ocean Studies, Kampoeng Bogor, Goethe Institute Jakarta, the Japan Foundation, Institut Francais de Indonesia Jakarta, etc.
