Rujak Center for Urban Studies, collaborate with University of Cambridge, Martin Center, Cities South of Cancer, and University of Tarumanegara, are calling students and academics of architecture and other related disciplines, practitioners in related disciplines as well as members of the public to participate in this joint event, Interaction + Intersection: Jakarta at the Crossroads.
This one-week workshop will be packed with programmes to study some of the most familiar but neglected spaces of our city. The week begins with a series of Public Talks by prominent researchers in the field. This workshop combines fieldwork and studio activities, crucially promoting a hands-on approach to urban studies. The workshop concludes with a final presentation of proposals and a lecture, both of which are open to members of the public.
