PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Learning Farm / Yayasan Karang Widya is a successful non-profit organization established to assist disadvantaged youth to become self-sufficient through providing the skills and knowledge in organic farming and essential life skills. Our program has been functioning for 6 years and we have seen over 370 students graduating from our 4 month residential program in Cipanas to successfully return back to their communities throughout Indonesia.
We are now looking to fill the role of Program Director who will lead the Farm with close collaboration and guidance from the Board of Trustees. The key responsibilities of this role will cover:
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs
- Lead and develop the staff
- Contribute to the design and implementation of products and services
- Undertake Community and Public Relations activities
- Operational financial management
We seek any person that sincerely shares our passion to help these disadvantaged youth and would ideally fulfill the following profile:
- Degree holder in Education, Agriculture, Public Administration, Business, Program Administration or related subject
- Some experience in the operations and administration management of an organization
- Knowledge of sustainable development OR organic farming OR education and youth development is an advantage
- Enjoys and is good working with a diverse range of people
- Creative and able to multi-task
- Comfortable to speak and write in basic English
- Willing to live on the farm at Cipanas with the youth on weekdays
